Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Unite account and its associated data at any time. Verify it's you with your phone number below, or email us if you no longer have access to the app.

What gets deleted

When your deletion completes, we permanently remove your Unite account and the personal data tied to it:

Your profile — name, username, photo, bio and interests
Your phone number and account identity
Happenings you hosted, and your attendance/ticket records
Your messages and chat participation
Your Family memberships and any Families you founded solo
Your connections, blocks, mutes and notifications

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it — chiefly financial/transaction records for up to 7 years for tax and accounting. Anonymised, aggregated statistics that can no longer identify you may be kept. Everything else is deleted from our active systems within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

Delete now — verify with your phone

We'll text a one-time code to the phone number on your account (the same way you sign in). This confirms it's really you before anything is deleted.

No longer have the app?

If you can't receive the code (for example, you've changed numbers or removed the app), email us from any address and we'll verify your identity and delete your account for you.
